COVID-19 TESTING UPDATE

Our COVID-19 Assessment Centre offers testing for all those who meet Ontario's testing criteria. Appointments can be booked online using our new online booking tool. Walk-in assessments are available daily between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon) or until capacity has been reached. Visit the Assessment Centre website to learn more.

Plastic Surgery

The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) provides outstanding, community-based patient care while contributing to the training of future Plastic Surgeons within the University of Toronto.

Surgical safety is a priority within our group. Like our colleagues, the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons at MGH are committed to providing safe, high quality care delivered with kindness and respect. We have implemented the World Health Organization (WHO) Surgical Safety Checklist. Additionally our Division has been actively participating in numerous measures associated with the University of Toronto Best Practices Group, including the standardization of the selection and administration of preoperative antibiotics. We strive not only to meet our already high standards, but to participate in initiatives to further improve the quality and safety of patient care. The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery participates in the MGH Quality Plan with the goal to identify target areas for further improvement and track our progress.

We are affiliated with the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto. As such, we have the privilege and responsibility of participating in the education and training of future surgeons.
